Incorporated in 1956, the Pinto Horse Association of America was formed to encourage the promotion of quality horses,
ponies and miniatures with color and to establish a registry for maintaining their show records and pedigrees. Currently,
the association serves approximately 78,000 members and boasts more than 155,000 registered Pintos.
IBHA was incorporated in 1971 to register, preserve the pedigree and promote the activity of Buckskin, Dun, Red Dun, and Grulla Horses. IBHA has proven to be the largest and most progressive registry in the world for these horses. By creating interests and demands through national, state, family and individual activities, the marketability of IBHA registered horses has constantly increased. Activities are promoted through state chartered associations and national advertising. IBHA maintains permanent horse show records and pedigrees.
Established in 1974, The American Driving Society, Inc. supports carriage drivers in the United States and Canada. Over 80 ADS-recognized events are held across North America each year.
The Carriage Association of America began half a century ago as a small group of carriage collectors. Since then, the CAA has grown into the leading world resource for educating its members and the general public about carriage makers, carriage restoration, carriage and driving history, as well as traditional standards of turnout and driving styles.
